Nuclear ("Nuculer" in George Bush parlance) energy sounded full of promise when it was originally launched. It was going to be clean, safe abundent and inexpensive "Too cheap to bother metering" was the phrase used at the time.
Unfortunately, we got sold a bill of goods and yet most people are not aware of the facts of what a disaster it has been. I am alarmed by this and decided to put together a series of pages that detail why I feel that nuclear energy is the worst piece of technology we'vre ever invented. Here, therefore, is a list of just some of the material I have accumulated on the topic.
